What is Education Fraud?

Do you know about 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝘂𝗱?

It occurs when a school or university violates the Higher Education Act or federally mandated standards of learning to increase profits. Corrupt administrators achieve this by increasing student enrollment, paying recruiters commissions and inflating student grades to qualify the school for more grant money.

These for-profit institutes treat education as a business and maximize profits by increasing enrollment (with no regard toward attendance) while keeping costs for extracurricular activities and teachers' salaries low.

Schools that commit education fraud usually have much lower graduation rates and their students often struggle to find jobs to repay the overwhelming debt accrued from school loans, leaving taxpayers to foot much of the bill.
